Gemma and I were hugely satisfied with the quality of photographs that David McAuley photography captured of our wedding day. We booked David as our wedding photographer as it was so important for us to get the best photographer. We certainly got that in David, he was amazing on the day itself and in the build up to the wedding, spending time with us going through different options and working with us on out requests prior to the day.

Neither of us were fans of staged pictures which we had seen so many times from other weddings so we wanted our day to be captured as naturally as possible and this was an easy ask with David. Even for some guests who are not used to being photographed, he made them feel right at ease.
He was everywhere on the day capturing every moment yet without being intrusive and stayed on well passed his time. He was more like a friend at the wedding rather than a photographer.

Well what can I say, David was an absolute pleasure to deal with it. From the first phone call to collecting our photos nothing was a problem. He listened to what we wanted and boy did he deliver. The photos were amazing, he took so many natural shots of everyone which was brilliant and had great ideas as well. He knew the venue very well which was great. We would highly recommend David to anyone.

We were married in June and booked David to be our photographer on a recommendation. He did not disappoint. I wanted the day to be very relaxed and in the early planning stages I wasn't even going to hire a photographer (I hate my photo being taken). David actually made the day more relaxing - He was discrete but I was so happy that he was there to capture all the little special moments. He even managed to get some fab pictures of our two children and they never stay still long enough for their photos to be taken! We were married in May and are delighted that we chose David as our photographer. His organisation and attention to detail from the initial enquiry through to the delivery of the photos was second to none. I’m not one for having my photo taken but David put me at complete ease, he was so professional but portrayed a relaxed persona whilst keeping everything organised & punctual. He made sure to capture all of our special moments (secret smiles and laugh out loud ones alike) ensuring that he included all of our family and friends. His eye for ‘different’ shots is amazing and we are absolutely delighted with the results, he even went so far as standing out in the middle of traffic to capture results for us. When we returned from honeymoon we met David in the studio where he took us through all of the photos and gave them to us on a beautiful glass USB, packaged in a gorgeous little bag…… for me this was the icing on the cake. All of our wedding party commented on how great David was and we cannot recommend him highly enough, he really went above and beyond, thank you David.

David was suggested to us by a friend and immediately we felt we had made the right choice. We were looking for a professional who knew how to get all the photos to record our wedding without being the centre of attention. David did this perfectly, the quality of photos was very high with a good variety of guests, grounds, posed photos and natural photos. There were numerous photos produced that I do not remember seeing David at all for, which was the main characteristic I wanted from our photographer. David listened to us at every turn and ensured that we got all that we wanted. We were at ease throughout the day with him as his manner was exceptional. I can't recommend David enough for your photographs.

David took our vision of natural laughter and happiness and captured it on camera we live our shots and couldn't recommend him enough thank you so much for everything.
